Play ball…

The Boys and Girls Club of Sweet Home's baseball program plays in the statewide Junior Baseball Organization (JBO). JBO is divided into three age groups: Midget, Junior and Senior. Each age group is broken up into three divisions: National, American and Federal. The club hosts tryouts in mid-March, which assigns each player to the division that best suits his needs. Our goal is to allow for each player to play within a level that fits his abilities, while also giving each player opportunities to improve. Every team will get the chance to qualify for a regional and state tournament based off of the team’s record for that year.

Teams play roughly two to three games a week in the region. Games begin around the third week of May and wrap up in early to mid-July. 

Our Club also offers a fall baseball program, which serves as an instructional league during the offseason.

The goal of our baseball program is to offer opportunities for young players to learn the ins and outs of baseball and learn how to be successful off the field. We hope you can join in on the summer fun
